Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week 2025 Set to Boost Year-End Car Sales in Indonesia

GAIKINDO – The year-end automotive exhibition Permata Bank GAIKINDO Jakarta Auto Week (Permata Bank GJAW) 2025 is ready to be held. It will take place from November 21–30, 2025, at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE), BSD City, Tangerang, Banten. The event is organized by the Association of Indonesian Automotive Industries (GAIKINDO) with the support of the Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) and Permata Bank as the main sponsor.

The main focus of the event is to encourage vehicle sales toward the end of the year while providing the best experience for visitors. GAIKINDO Chairman Putu Juli Ardika said that Permata Bank GJAW serves as an important moment for the public to buy new vehicles with various attractive offers. The collaboration with Permata Bank adds extra value by providing easy financing and special promotions during the exhibition.

GAIKINDO Executive Chairman Anton Kumonty added that this exhibition is not only about displaying vehicles but also a celebration of the automotive world. He described GJAW 2025 as an event to enjoy entertainment while also getting opportunities to purchase vehicles at the best prices and promotions.

Permata Bank GJAW 2025 will be joined by more than 80 leading automotive brands. From the passenger car segment, confirmed participants include BAIC, BMW, BYD, Changan, Chery, Citroën, Daihatsu, Ford, Honda, Mitsubishi Motors, Toyota, and Wuling. For the two-wheeler segment, several brands such as Indomobil E-Motor, Royal Enfield, and Scomadi will also enliven the exhibition. In addition, two domestic body manufacturers, Adiputro and Tentrem, will appear along with more than 35 supporting industry brands, including producers of spare parts, accessories, and vehicle care products.

The exhibition will feature 13 programs and interactive activities for visitors, divided into four main categories: Test Drive & Test Ride Program, Motorsport Program, Community Program, and Family Program. All are designed to be enjoyed by automotive enthusiasts, communities, and families.

In the Test Drive & Test Ride Program, the vehicle test area will be expanded to three kilometers. Visitors can try cars and motorcycles from various brands in the outdoor areas of Hall 3–10 for cars and Hall 8–9 for motorcycles. This year also introduces a new Indoor EV Test Drive area in Hall 1–2, covering 4,000 square meters, allowing visitors to test electric cars in an air-conditioned indoor environment.

In the Motorsport Program, visitors can join the Racing Simulator Competition, a virtual racing contest with high-standard simulation technology. There will also be an RC Off-road Competition, a remote-controlled car race on a miniature track, and Mini GP, a small motorcycle race similar to MotoGP.

For communities, the event will hold the Parade of a Thousand Cars on November 23, featuring thousands of cars of various types, including electric and modified vehicles. There will also be an Underground Meet Up for car modification communities and Diecast on GJAW, an event for miniature car collectors. In addition, the Campervan Show in Hall 3A will display recreational vehicles for outdoor lifestyle enthusiasts.

Children can participate in the Push Bike Competition, a balance bike race that trains coordination and confidence. There will also be Drift & Offroad for Kids, a safe and educational mini driving experience, as well as Paper Art Craft, a creative paper activity held in the Pre-function Hall area.
